President’s Address

PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS

Dear Esteemed ICOMAA NA Members and Colleagues,

It is my privilege and honor to serve as the incoming president  of this great organization ICOMAA-NA. 

Much work has been done by all the previous presidents and executive committees to strengthen the foundation of our organization and position it to grow to its full potential.

We are all indeed indebted to them for their untiring efforts and selfless devotion to our association.

 A very special thank you to our Board of Trustees – Professor A.O.K Johnson, Professor Famuyiwa and Professor Akinboboye for their support of the organization. Thank you for your guidance, wisdom and advice. 

The most important reason to come together as an alumni association  is to receive the benefits and privileges of active and engaged membership. 

It will be our focus to demonstrate the benefits of active membership and encourage all alumni to engage and contribute to the growth of the organization. 

Strategic Vision 2024-2026

Teamwork – to collaborate with all Alumni in different class sets in North America.

Engage all Alumni and encourage active participation in the organization. 

Alumni Database – the need to build a robust database with accurate information and expand membership.    

Mentoring, networking for career growth by harnessing the power and influence of alumni in the different fields of Medicine. 

Support for our Ibadan College of Medicine and the University College Hospital. 

There is strength in numbers and we on the executive committee appeal to everyone to reach out to their colleagues and friends and encourage them to be active members who will provide the energy to further strengthen our organization.

Together we can build a strong alumni association.

Thank you all for the confidence you have placed in us as the newly elected executive committee and entrusting us with the continued health, growth, and success of ICOMAA-NA.
